What you're looking at

There are 5,775 lights in the yard, and each one is told what color to be, down to the hundredth of a second. Here's where everything is, in a photo from last November.

Our house at night last November, seen from across the street, with each part of the show labeled: the mega tree and its star on the left, the rooflines, windows, snowflakes, candy canes and spinner on the house, the bushes and floodlights below them, arches on both sides of the driveway and the four singing bulbs on the right.

Meet the singers

Four bulbs on the lawn and one tree by the door do the singing. Each mouth shape is its own set of lights, switched on in time with the words.

The four singing bulbs on the lawn, glowing green with white eyes and red smiles. From left to right: Elden, Felix, Ralphie and Zuzu.
The singing tree: a small green tree with a face, on the wall between two windows by the front door.
  • Elden sings lead on most songs.
  • Felix sings backup. Good for an ooh or an aah.
  • Ralphie sings backup, right alongside Felix.
  • Zuzu sings backup most nights and lead on a few. Listen for Let It Go and Last Christmas.
  • The singing tree joins in on every song that has words.

Three songs have no words at all (Wizards in Winter, Dueling Jingle Bells and Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy), so the singers get a break.

How we got here

  1. 2024

Our first year with lights set to music: the rooflines, the windows, four singing bulbs, a spinner and the candy canes.

  2. 2025

The mega tree, eight arches, three snowflakes and the singing tree joined the yard.

  3. 2026

Thirty songs, and we went back through every one of them so the whole yard moves together.

We are the Echevarria family, and this is our third year of sequenced lights after a lifetime of traditional Christmas displays. We created this show to spread cheer in a world that often feels divided, and we plan to grow it every year.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for attending and for making the trek to see this labor of love.

This show is, and will always be, in loving memory of Kenneth Sefcik and Leopoldo Echevarria.
